A wind vane is a device which is designed to test out the wind position. The wind vane is placed on the roof of a house, where there is nothing blocking it . The points of the wind vane is made by light metals so that it will change directions according to the wind directions. There is usually only 2 points - north and south. The arrowhead will point to the direction of the wind.
